Love-

The theme of love is between Kaira an Armpit.Kaira loved Armpit and she trusted him. To prove this Kaira even invited Armpit to San Fransissco just for him to be with her.



Change-

The theme of change apeared when Theodore met Kaira. If he nevere would have met her he wouldn't have those memories. Also when X-ray gave Theodore the fake tickets, this lead to a big chain of events.



Betrayal-

The theme betarayal was when El Genius almost killed Kaira and Fred. He did this for his own good because once Kaira turned eighteen she said she will fire him

Two tickets change it all for Theodore. One of the main characters in this book. Theodore used to be a very angry young man and that led him to Camp Green Lake, a juvenile facility. There all Theodore did was digg holes(this is all in the other book Holes). At Camp Green Lake he met another juvenlie called X-ray or Rex. X-Ray tthinks that there are legal ways of making quick money, thats why he went to Camp Green Lake. Now Theodore is trying to turn his life and be sucsessful by taking small steps. X-ray on the other hand thought there would still be leggal ways of making money and drags Theodore into it. Kaira DeLeon is a famous pop singer who spends all her time travelling and making tours which doesnt give her any time to make friends. Kaira is very lonely and she has many problems with her manager who got a guard for her, he is always following her since it's his job. Some how Kaira and Theodores lifes get together and they seem happy until something terible happens.

I think that this is the best book ever, I just couldn't stop reading! In this book you feel like is you are there in the storyand you feel all the characters emotions. For example Ginny, a little girl who has ceberal paisly and has suffered all her life but she still goes on in life, as you read you feel her power and her streangth. The characterization of Theodore , a young man who tries to change his life fr good and trys to keep everyone out of troble you see that he's a very good person which just makes you love him.

I would recomend this book to anyone who loves, love stories. I would recomend it to more mature people because there are many parts that may just sound cheesy to little children. To be more exact it would be people above 10 years old. I guess this book is more apealing to girls then to boys because a of all the love in it. Well I love this book and if you want to read it, do.

I don't think i'd want to be one. I say that because as you read you see how teribble Kairas life is and all the times she says that she has no friends, she even hates her manager, I wouldn't like that. She has even gotten threats on her life, thats preaty scary.

This here was damsel in distress, to kaira this ment that she is in a lot of pain.
Armpit thinks his name is in the song, so he kinda knew that one day they would meet al=nd she would sing thats ong to him(which she did)

Theodores experiance at the police station was very scary to Theodore because a he did was lie to the cop which isn't very good.

Favorite Character(Small Steps)

My favorite character on this book is Ginny. ginny is my favorite because she has been through a lot, she has Cerebral Palsy which is when the person was a baby she had blood in her brain which makes them not be able to control their volantary movement. She is still very strong.

Small Steps

"Small Steps" is one of my favorite book ever! This book is about a boy called Theodore who went to Camp green lake which is a jail for young adults it's all in the other book "Holes". Theodore is also called armpit(long story). Right now in the book Theodore and ginny(his nieghbor) went to a Kaira Deleon concert and their tickets were fake! Then Ginny had a seizure while the security was aresting him. When Kaira figuered out this was happening she helped them and brought them back stage. Scince then they have been friends. Later Theodore and kaira almost kissed. After that a detective came and asked theodore a whole lot of questions about the person that sold them the tickets, Theodore lied.
